Status updates on the mission of Remount Foundation.
Remount Foundation appreciates your donation and your support of our mission. Our budget and ongoing financial health rely on accounting for and accepting irrevocable, non-refundable donations from the public. Therefore, Remount Foundation considers all donations to be nonrefundable. Remount Foundation may consider returning donations to the donor, but only in limited circumstances. If you have made an error with your donation or changed your mind about contributing to our organization, please contact us at info@remountfoundation.org. Depending on the circumstances, Remount Foundation will consider your request if it is made within ninety (90) days of the original donation. Remount Foundation may ask for proof of identity before issuing a refund, and all refunds are returned using the original method of payment. For example, if your donation was made by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same account. You are responsible for all tax considerations that may arise if your donation is refunded.
Remount Foundation empowers active-duty U.S. service members, veterans of all eras, their spouses, and dependent children to overcome their hidden wounds inflicted by service-related or life-event trauma, harnessing a renewed life outlook with hope and purpose. Our pioneering program, the Remount Method, is praised for its flexibility in meeting each participant's discovery level for healing through various therapeutic exercises in Equine Assisted Philosophy combined with HeartMath® resilience-building techniques. The Remount Method is provided at no cost to eligible program participants.
Veteran program participants are evaluated during intake and throughout their healing journey to ensure success in and beyond the program. The healing journey is not a “one size fits all” process for all who seek it.
Applicants to the Remount Method program are qualified/disqualified based on the following Eligibility Criteria. Program applicants and participants must meet ALL the Eligibility Criteria applicable to their classification (Active-Duty or Veteran).
Remount Foundation is an equal opportunity organization and will not allow discrimination based upon age, ethnicity, ancestry, gender, national origin, disability, race, size, religion, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, or any other status prohibited by applicable law.
